Let it Snow!

Let it snow! Let it snow! Let it snow!

Let it snow! Let it snow! Let it snow!

Oh the weather outside is frightful

But the fire is so delightful
And since we’ve no place to go
Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!

It doesn’t show signs of stopping
And I’ve brought some corn for popping
The lights are turned way down low
Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!

When we finally kiss goodnight
How I’ll hate going out in the storm!
But if you’ll really hold me tight
All the way home I’ll be warm

The fire is slowly dying

And my dear we’re still good-bye-ing

But as long as you love me so
Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It snow!

Let it Snow! Let it Snow! Let it Snow!

For most people it is a lot more fun to sing about snow than to have snow.  Seems like you have to be a kid to really enjoy snow.  We lose so much as you grow up. Of course, this is one of those romantic songs, love birds, snuggling and all.  Seems like people lose a lot of that as they grow up too.

Not a bit of the specifically sacred that I can find in this one. Really it is a seasonal song, not a holiday song. Yet again it is one of my favorites. I enjoy the season. I enjoy the holiday. I hope you do to.
