As I look at photos from the second half of 1997, I see some photos that are iconic within the family memory about that era.
There are a lot of pictures of Sofia and Carly — the cousins — together playing, learning, and growing up.
Living so close to the grandparents led to plenty of moments to enjoy them together, or to see exciting attempts to walk.
The above picture of Sofia with these stuffed animals is one of the fun memories from the time — the iconic picture.
They read a lot of books, and explored a lot of spaces.
Until they were wore out. Then they woke up and started it all over again.
