On this Independence day I thought I would share this TV special from years gone by, featuring John Wayne. I have been hearing one of Wayne’s speeches from this at the amusement park for the past several days, but they never share the whole thing. So here it is:
It is especially worthwhile after reading this blog by someone who just listed 3 reasons why the American revolution was a mistake. Seems easy to criticize by someone who appreciates governments that have higher taxes and control their people better. Seems he doesn’t understand what freedom needs, or what the impact of our freedom had on subsequent events.
So enjoy the John Wayne, and laugh at the pretensions of the other guy. His blog isn’t even worth the indignation.
