(Continuing the series of our visit to the Kansas City zoo).
Since we had purchased the unlimited transportation package, we wanted to get the full benefit of the pass. So we decided to do the Sky Safari again — this time riding the full circuit. We would get on and off at the same station, the central station, and see the savannah both going and returning.
The Savannah does seem somewhat different coming than going. There are certain corners and vistas you get one way that you don’t the other. But in all the main ways, the two views are similar.
The one main difference is that we could see the kids coming toward us as well as from behind.
