Well, the voting is done, but the Hugos won’t be announced until WorldCon meets, just two weeks from now. It will be the first Con we have attended, and we are hoping to have a good time, and not have it spoiled by people who are so sensitive and trigger un-happy.
The con has sent out a guide with various tips and information on the con site, hotels, etc. We are looking it over and hoping to have a great time.
FYI — I’m planning on putting all my features on hiatus for Aug 16-22 to put up daily features on the WorldCon from the perspective of a first-time con-goer.
Creational and relational type Renaissance man (writer, singer, thinker) holding to C.S Lewis's credo that if you follow truth originality takes care of itself, (anyway, originality is so yesterday, anyway.) That I have my wonderful wife Jasini is proof enough for me that life isn't fair. If it was fair I wouldn't have her, and instead she is my most faithful example that I am blessed beyond measure. My two adult children are the same unmerited blessing to me. We should all be thankful life is not fair but blessed.
