Fitness Update: Race Days

Been an interesting fitness weekend.  Storm took out power, and plowed a tree into the house.  Didn’t get many activities in the fitness category in.

But earlier in the week I got in my bike miles — up to 140 miles for the month.

And I did manage one 5K run.

I also signed up for the 2018 Progress Race series. So I’ll be starting January with a mile race, then the 5K in February, 10K in March and half marathon in April.  Next year second year competitors can with a cup as well as medal if they best their previous speed. Not sure if I’ll be able to best some of them, but hope I can do better on the half marathon at least.
