Anniversary

Jasini and I celebrated 28 years together today.

It was sort of like the friendship flower garden I have out front. We went over to a friend’s house and took her tomatoes and had a wonderful discussion about gardens, our lives, the gifts of God and the freedom of our lives that he’s given us.

Then we invited her over to our place a little bit later where we shared cake, cheesecake. We had another wonderful discussion about the blessings in our lives. Much was about our children, hers and ours, seen by some as special needs, but to us special blessings, Sharp and insightful children, full of the zest for life. Teaching themselves to read and challenging us to be our best and ever grateful.

There are some things that have happened in the past few years that I might wish had been different, but I would go through them all and even more again rather than be able to avoid them without Jasini and my children.
