For those Christians hip enough (boy, is that an out of date expression, “hip”) to go in for the “Life Verse” sort of thing, may I recommend that you take seriously the consideration of Matthew 5:11.
But more than that, use Matthew 10:36 as your supporting verse.
And then interpret the whole thing thinking about your “brothers and sisters in Christ.”
Nothing is sure to give your day a more encouraging uplift, I can assure you.

My two adult children are the same unmerited blessing to me. We should all be thankful life is not fair but blessed.
