I’m sure all of us have felt this way. Doesn’t matter where the line is: grocery store,vsecurity check, ticket counter, you choose a line that seems the shortest and best for getting through the quickest, and you end up waiting a long time, while all the other lines get through long before you do.
Jasini and I often feel this way when trying to get through the parking gate at Worlds of Fun. Whatever short line we choose ends up with somebody that has to talk to the attendant for 5 minutes about something (hyperbole). Yet oday’s experience just put the exclamation point at the end of “when you just can’t win”!
There we were four lanes operating, three of them had cars and one of them had NO CARS AT ALL. So Jasini drove up to that no cars lane only to have someone walk into the path of the car on the other side of the tenant’s booth on foot and start talking to the attendant for five minutes or more. Even when we get a lane with no cars in it we get to wait.
As I said when you just can’t win.
