(Note: the below post was intended for the anniversary of the arson fire that upended life at At The Rainbow. But first a delay in my starting to write it, and then WordPress technical issues, followed by personal technical issues (death of my laptop, almost death of my desktop) have delayed it until now. So read it as intended, to be released a month ago, but realize it has been 13 months, not a year.)
Aug. 6, 2024 — a day that will live in infamy. A day that changed our lives forever. An Arsonist set fire to At The Rainbow.
My first report of the fire on the blog (follow link here) included two videos. Both were surveys of the charred At The Rainbow, each with an a capella version of two gospel songs.
Today I am posting those videos again, along with a follow up to each, recorded this month to the same songs, but showing the changes to the At The Rainbow grounds.
Those four videos will be followed by a fifth, where i give a verbal talk about the grounds and our lives today.
