I believe the wind whipped through Oct. 14, 2017 but I consider Oct. 15 the anniversary — that is when we could see it and assess, and begin the process of rebuilding.
And today we finished that year cycle. While there are things to be done to the house, our move from old to new house, within the same house, is completed. We cleared out all the moving detrius in the basement, and have everything shelved and reorged.
So here are some side by side pictures of then and now:

That I have my wonderful wife Jasini is proof enough for me that life isn't fair. If it was fair I wouldn't have her, and instead she is my most faithful example that I am blessed beyond measure. My two adult children are the same unmerited blessing to me. We should all be thankful life is not fair but blessed.
