Spent the evening after work swimming at Oceans of Fun. The wave-pool there has a 10-minute song cycle while the waves are running.
Why am I mentioning that with a title “That Darn Cat!”? Because after the park closed, we came home and started watching the classic Disney movie — which has a whole surfing subplot. The movie was made in the days when surfing was a thing. Which reminded me of the wave pool songs. I’ve never really heard the words of the songs. So here they are, looked up on the Internet:
Wipe Out!
Written by the Sufaris’ in 1963, is actually an instrumental piece. The only lyrics are: “Ah ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha, wipe out”.
