Creational and relational type Renaissance man (writer, singer, thinker) holding to C.S Lewis's credo that if you follow truth originality takes care of itself, (anyway, originality is so yesterday, anyway.) That I have my wonderful wife Jasini is proof enough for me that life isn't fair. If it was fair I wouldn't have her, and instead she is my most faithful example that I am blessed beyond measure. My two adult children are the same unmerited blessing to me. We should all be thankful life is not fair but blessed.

#176: Break Thou the Bread of Life

(Part of a series singing through the hymnbook I grew up with: Great Hymns of the Faith) I remember this song as a frequent musical underlay to the communion service in the churches where I grew up. 1 Break Thou the bread of life, Dear Lord, to me, As Thou didst break the loaves Beside … Continue reading #176: Break Thou the Bread of Life →

Toontown Revisited

I think it has been over a year since I played Toontown Rewritten. At one point I was playing it 4 hours a weekend; 2 hours each on a Saturday and Sunday. It was the relaxation reward I was giving myself. But then life got busy again and I didn't have the time to give … Continue reading Toontown Revisited →

Fitness Update: 1st place (of a kind …)

This week was the build-up to the Sham Rock and Run on Sunday. I started with 5K run on Monday along the streets around my house. I got a 6.5 mph pace, which is the base I felt I needed for the pace I wanted -- the pace I want to make for the half-marathon. … Continue reading Fitness Update: 1st place (of a kind …) →

What kind of tramp is Trump?

Back on March 10, 2016, just over a year ago, I wrote this post about now President Trump and why I didn't trust him and wouldn't vote for him. I still stand by those comments, and about the way his wealth enabled him to get away with behavior that a poor man could never get … Continue reading What kind of tramp is Trump? →

The Non-Post

And on the Fifth Day he rested....   Ever wonder why the week is 7 days long instead of 5? Yesterday I noticed that somehow in my advance scheduling, I had put three posts up on the same day. Not sure how I did that, but it didn't change anything I scheduled beyond that, so … Continue reading The Non-Post →
